What we collect

When you submit the Start a Project form we collect the information you enter: the service you are interested in, your business type, your region, an optional budget (currency and approximate amount), an optional timeline, your project description, and your contact details (name, optional company, email address, and phone number with country code).

We also record the page you submitted from, the time of submission, and, where available, the referring site and any campaign parameters in the URL. This tells us which parts of the site are actually useful.

Job applications

When you apply through the careers page we collect your name, email address, phone number, current city, total experience, when you could start, an optional LinkedIn or portfolio link, an optional note, and your CV.

We use this only to consider you for the role you applied for and for future roles. Your application is sent by email to the Gen Clover team; it is not stored on this website. We may keep your application on file, with no fixed end date, so we can consider you for future roles. You can ask us to delete it at any time and we will.

Why we collect it

To respond to your inquiry and to understand what you need well enough to reply usefully. That is the only purpose.

We process this information on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box before submitting the form.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not add you to a marketing list because you made an inquiry.

We do not collect special category personal data through this website, and we ask you not to include sensitive information in your project description.

Who can see it

Your inquiry is delivered to the Gen Clover team. We use third-party infrastructure to host this website and to deliver inquiry notifications; those providers process the data on our behalf and only for that purpose.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our conversation. If you would like your inquiry deleted, email us and we will remove it.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, email us at the address below.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising cookies. We store campaign attribution for the length of your browser session so that an inquiry can be connected to how you arrived.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and whether they start or complete the inquiry and application forms. Google Analytics sets its own first-party cookies for this and receives technical information such as your browser, device type and approximate location. We never send it your name, email address, phone number, CV or anything you type into a form. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
